Sorry if this has been already discussed on a prior thread. I just have a question for the expert 1970 Skylark Buick owners/restorers. Were the gas tank straps heavy stamped steel (with notches on the ends), light galvanized, painted black or natural? Dan.
Ditto, all I have ever seen in junkyards were galvanized as well. Many GM high dollar restorations have black for some reason. Maybe Chev/Pocho were black but I doubt it.
