1970 buick self adjusting pieces

    my brakes fell apart inside the drum, grinding some pieces......... Im having a hard time finding the LINK that hooks the self adjusting plate to the front of the wheel cylinder.

    I'm not clear on which exact piece you're talking about, but have you looked at a "brake hardware kit" at your local auto parts store?

    If your piece doesn't come in the kit, I bet I have what you need laying around here somewhere. You can have it for the cost of shipping.
    Can you post a picture of what you need? (maybe from the other end of the rear end)

    brake springs fatigue/fail after a while. cheap insurance...buy hold down and self adjusting kits. they will have everything you need.

    go to junkyard and find yourself some aluminum drums too.
    dont be foolish or cheap... buy everything....brakes are worth a life!!!
