For sale 1970 Saturn Yellow GSX Stage 1, Auto, no AC. Q-Q paint code, Body sheet found in windshield pillar shows GSX package. Car is complete. I have most of the parts only a couple of parts missing but available aftermarket (such as the front spoiler). Parts include NOS, remanufactured, and good used parts. Car is disassembled and restoration started. I will get it to a rolling chassis for transporting. The Car is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The car does NOT have matching numbers. I can be reached by email gdevries@acs.utah.edu or by phone 801-485-5613 between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm Mountain. I can email pictures of the car to those of you who are interested. Asking $30,000.

Condition of car and parts included with the car.
Parts are well organized and marked to what they are.
The car does NOT have matching numbers.

    Drive Train
A complete 1970 455 SF code engine. Short block needs to be rebuilt.
Rebuilt Stage 1 heads. Heads are 1970 numbering.
New chrome valve covers and hardware.
    1970 Stock manifold.
    70 GS455 numbered distributor.
70 GS455 numbered Carb. Needs to be rebuilt.
1967 Switch Pitch T400 trans that is rebuilt.
1970 Buick 8.2 10 bolt posi rear end with a 3.23 gear ratio. This is the wrong gear ratio for the car should be 3.64.
Air cleaner is restored. New paint, decals and ram air foam.
New air cleaner support and radiator hose hook.
Good radiator and top plate. Top plate has been sanded and painted.
    Good drive line.
5 good 15X7 rally Wheels but only 1 is a WG wheel.
Rear trailing arms have been glass beaded painted and new bushings installed.
Gas tank is in great shape. Out of car
New inner and outer tie rode ends, center link, trialing arm, sleeves etc.
    Car has new rear springs.
Car had new ball joints, shocks, A arm bushings and front springs installed when I got it. No mileage on them but has been long enough that the rubber cap on the ball joints are cracked. Springs are new but need to be repainted.
Both front and rear sway bars.

    Body
Rust free fenders both left and right sides.
NOS radiator support but was left outside before I got it so it has surface rust but is solid.
Both front inner fenders are clean with only surface rust.
Car has had a new drivers quarter skin welded on and I have a new quarter skin for the other side. Year One quarter skins.
    NOS 1970 GS grille.
Original GSX grille emblem but it is pitted.
Both bumpers are straight and solid. These are original bumpers so the chrome is faded.
Tail lights have been restored and are in great shape.
    Original wing.
Trunk lid is straight and solid but not original so it will need to have the holes drilled to mount the wing.
Original hood great shape. Front inside lip is solid.
New hood tack. Purchased from Year One
Car could use a new engine wiring harness. I do have a used one out of a 1971 GS350
    Doors are solid and straight.
All the glass is good but has been removed from the car.
Front and rear window frames are solid. Both have been sanded to bare metal and sprayed with Zero-Rust.
Cowl area is solid. Sanded to bare metal and sprayed with Zero-Rust
    Floors are solid.
Trunk floor needs to be replaced on the drivers side.
Jack and accessories but need to be restored.
    New Year One battery tray.
    All chrome. Pretty decent shape.
Frame is solid and straight. Trans support is also solid.
    New radiator support bushings.
NOS GSX decals for wing and quarter panels.

    Interior
Car has a tilt column that is not original to car. It was a non tilt car.
Interior is complete but was diamond tucked in the 70s so it would need an interior kit.
    Nice kick panels.
16 Armrests are in great shape with good pads. Backing plates need to be re-chromed.
Dash bezel is good but would need to be restored. Gauges all there
Console is in good shape. New wood grain decals for console.
Original GSX steering wheel and horn button.
Dash is in great shape, no cracks and has the GSX dash emblem.

    Body Work
The body needs some work. The right side will need the quarter panel welded on (new skin comes with car). The right outer rear fender well will need the outside lip worked on. The left outer rear wheel well was fixed with a Chevelle part. (There is an area that shows in the trunk that I did not like so I feel there will need to be some metal work in this area.) This shouldnt be too difficult since this is the side that will need trunk floor work. There was an aftermarket sunroof installed so a donor roof was welded on. The donor roof was welded and re-leaded on the sail panels were the factory leaded the roof. As stated above the trunk floor on the drivers side will need to be replaced.

There was a small rust hole in the lower right part of the firewall. This area is hidden by the fender. This hole has had a patch panel welded in. Also there was a small rust hole in the cowl area that was under the wide chrome piece by the wipers. This hole has also had a patch welded in.

As stated before, the car will be assembled to a basic rolling chassis for transportation, but the engine and other components will need to be shipped apart from the car.

    Guys,

The last time the seller was on the forums was over 1 year ago...probably not for sale anymore or already sold.

That's where you find the Body Shop Inspection sheets. The ones on the gas tank are the Production Order Body Final or the Production Order Chassis Paint sheets.
