Anybody have one of these kits? What is the current availability of them? I'd like to have one if I can get my hands on one.

I went looking for a picture to post here, but couldn't find anything. I know of an Apollo White kit for certain, not sure of any other colors.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey Tom, I have one of these kits and the guy I bought mine from is Tom Sartor. He always goes to all the Buick meets and deals with diecast and collectible models.

Tom, there was both a yellow and a white one produced.
The weren't in the stores very long.
Got lucky and found both mine at Walmart about 2 years ago.
As Carl mentioned, your best chance is at a meet or on line.

    Jeff:

I think the one I'm talking about is a 1:18 scale kit. Is this the same one you speak of? I checked on Ebay and didn't see anything like it recently.

Yes Tom, these are the 1:18 scale.
If you don't find a pic, I can post one later.
They aren't all over e-bay, but pop up once in a while.

Hmm...is there a reason they put the GS-X decal in the wrong spot on the white car?

wow Jim... you have good eyes! I never noticed that... I have had the white one for awhile but the yellow one was diffcult to find. I have about all of them but I need the Ertl 70 GS Chase car. I also noticed that Ertl has came out with a new chrome GS for this year.

  12. If you pull it out and build it, like I did, the interior is black/red/white like Brad's prototype. I liked building the prototype, versus paying $$$$$ for the GSCA Nats original on Ebay.

I was curious too- but when I pulled it out of the box, I saw the interior and built it. If you look close, the paint is not flat white, it has some pearl in it.

I just tried a quick search of Brad's prototype to see where the decals are on his car and came up empty. Does anyone have a pic they could share?

I guess that settles that, it's an accurate model of Brad's prototype. Cool! :TU:

Thanks for all the replies, guys! I found a few of these kits here in town yesterday. They are all the white GSX Prototype kits. I'll have to keep an eye on how the one posted up on Ebay does in it's auction. I'm looking to keep one for myself and sell the other two.

I combined the 2 kits! I took the Black interior from the Yellow car and put it in the White car!:Smarty: I'll have to take pics of it to post.:bglasses:
You can still find those kits at WalMart or Toys R Us, occasionallly. I buy ALL the GSX's that I can, you just never know when they'll be "discontinued" or AVAILABLE anymore!:Smarty:
