Hi, Im new to this forum. I have a 1970 Buick GS, 350. I was wondering if anyone knows of a BF Goodrich 255/60 R15 fit as back tires on a my rims. Which are 15x7? Or anyone have and idea of what size tire looks best on this kind of Buick? Thanks. Angelo

Hi, that tire will fit on your rim. A lot of guys go with a 275/60R15 on a 15x8 rim. Just make sure you have 4.5" of backspacing to center it in the wheel well if you go that route.

Thanks for the info. Ill stick to the 255/60 sounds like it will be no problem. Wow, didnt know even a 275 can fit.

I actually run a 325/50R15 on a 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing. Here are some pics starting at post #41: http://v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=15046&page=2

245 60R -15 is the closest tire to the origianl G60 -15 Goodyear.

Just to throw in my 2 pennies, I use 225/60R16. I have 16X8 all around.
