Rogue American Apparel would make sense. This is from their Instagram page.

Not easy to see in the pictures but it does, I zoomed in. Like another said earlier in this thread, the seller could have done a much better job with photos.

This is basically the twin to my car. I have another email into the seller that I'm awaiting a reply on.

I'm really surprised John Proden hasn't chimed in yet.

Or maybe he's on a plane to Austin? Either way, I feel like it's definitely worth checking out.

Henry Snow's 26K mile column shift auto just grabbed $90K. This is supposed to have less miles and be a complete, rust free numbers car - and a 4-speed.

Wayne Roberts is the curator of the GS Historic Society and also a member of this board.

For a fee, he'll decode your VIN and send you back documentation verifying your car's pedigree.

Short of a build sheet, POP or original window sticker, these docs are the next best (and accepted) thing.

    Agreed.

I was talking to someone about this the other night and he brought up a good point: maybe he doesn't want to sell it.

    Catch my drift? Haha

The two high bidders are his buddies and are schill bidding for him. They have 100% and 64% of their bids with this particular seller and own over 80% of total bids!

Bidding activity on an eBay auction will tell you nothing about the cars value, as most of the time it is schill bidding. As stated by someone before, most sales occur after the auction ends. The seller will put a huge reserve on it let his friends know what it is and let them burn up in hopes of some sucker coming in at the end thinking he’s got to have it!

    I didn't even look.

    Good detective work, Paul!

In that case, why bother with a reserve? Just have the schill buddies bid it up to what would be the reserve.

Because then they would have to pay the fees ($125) for the auction ending as a “sold to schill” LOL and they are too cheap and worried to do that.....

When it comes to rare muscle cars on EBay, unfortunately this is a common practice. Caveat Emptor, Proceed With Caution, Re-stamp, Bondo Bucket, “Survivor” (LOL Barely) Personal Inspections, Paperwork, Pictures, Etc. Etc. Etc.

If I had the funds I would hit the buy now and not let it get away and the owner maybe changing his mind if a no sale. Is this the lowest mile black on black 4 speed or automatic known ???
