I saw this car in person 2 weeks ago it is "outstanding" http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/2068659306.html
I almost positive that was my old convertible, sold it to a guy named mike in sugarland Texas . back in april , car was a skylark , cloned , many hours of hard work in that car, was hard to sell it , starting on another one ,70 gs 455 numbers matching ,hard top this time ,
Back when I was in Texas, I was told that a real stage convertible lived in Houston. Is that car still there? Just wondering. When I was in IL, I knew of four others in state. I hear a silver 4-speed was just found in IL. There was one in OK, and one in KS that I knew of. It's funny how these cars seem to generate "statewide interest." I visited a local Mustang shop to ask about a Cougar, and the guy said he'd heard there was a 70 Stage 1convertible "somewhere around here." I didn't tell him it was mine. He wouldn't have believed me... Dan
