My first car was a 1970 Buick Estate Wagon with a 455 that I bought for $700 in the mid-70's as a teenager with a new license. Sold it for $400 a year later after blowing up the radiator 4 times. Now that I am older and am an avid car collector, I am trying to locate one like it. Looking for one in good/great condition that is rust free. Not looking for a fixer upper. I live in Arizona, but will consider one in almost any part of the US.

If anyone knows or hears of one that might be for sale, please let me know. What I am looking for is the 1970 wagon with the wood paneling on the side, upper section in white paint, roof was brown vinyl with a roof rack. I know it's like finding a needle in a haystack and I have found it in the cream color, but I figure in time I will find one like it in white. 455 engine of course.

    Thanks.

I've been watching that beauty for a long time as well. Although it is for sale on oldcaronline by a dealer, on the web site of that same dealer the wagon is now in the 'SOLD' section. :Do No: and quite a few more photos: http://www.connorsmotorcar.com/70Buick.html

(BTW: very nice cars there: http://www.connorsmotorcar.com/Sold.html)

Yes, I saw this one too, Thx. Almost identical to the one I had , its just missing the white paint and the vinyl top. I also had the spoked hubcaps on mine, but I like these wheels better. This one I would definitely consider even though it is not exact, but the price is way, way out there and my pockets are not that deep either.
