There is a clip that holds the brake tubes behind the power booster. In 1970 the assembly manaul shows the earler type that is all metal. They show the newer type with the rubber inserts for one of the GMAD palnts only. I believe they all cahnged to the type with the rubber inserts at some point. I know of a junkayard 70 built in December of 69 that has the older type metal style. A June built 70 in the same yard has the newer type. Anyone with a 70 who can check theirs maybe we can narrow it down. I am interested in 70 flint Cars...The two types are below. Oldest style is left.

    Dave.

My GSX is a 3rd week of April build, and has the later style clip. I tried to snap a picture, but couldn't get one in focus. I should be bringing my 3rd week of March car home from storage next month. I will check it as well. If I forget, bump this to the top as a reminder.

I'll check mine too. The Aquamist car is first week of March build, so you'll have all your bases covered:TU:.

Third week March car has early clip. Flint build, factory disc brakes. I was expecting to find a later style clip to be honest.
