I've assembled & shipped all the good ones I have right now. They should be arriving shortly to you guys. I have gathered several mirrors to be resilvered but need some more. If any of you guys have extra lighted or even unlighted mirror assemblies that you could sell to me as inexpensive cores, I would appreciate it & it would help others get theirs done. I need the part of the mirror that faces you to be as scratch free as possible for best results. A couple tiny scratches are ok but if it is badly scratched I can't use the glass but could probably use the housing. It doesn't matter if it is badly discolored on the back of it as it will be redone. Also if it's the lighted kind, I could use as much of the wire & connectors as possible. I know on Oldsmobiles the mirrors from '73 are the same as the '70-'72 & maybe even later years would work?
I'm really not making much money on these after the resilvering costs, shipping them there & back, & my time to restore them so any help is greatly appreciated!
    Call with any questions?
    Thanks,
    Scott

I'm certain many of us would be buyers at a higher price. I like a good deal but I don't want you to feel like you are being taken advantage of.

I'm glad we don't have feedback/voting buttons, that comment would likely garner a few dislikes.

It might be helpful to list where everyone stands in the list of buyers.

now theresa a good idea...have members send theirs in for a new mirror....that would be a great service...and you wont run out of cores

    Brian,
Thanks for the info. I don't want to sound like I'm whining. I always struggle to price things fairly but still make a few bucks. I was thinking that if I asked for much more I would price myself out of the market. Maybe on the next batch I'll bump them up a bit. I might be able to refurbish originals from you guys as well for a bit less.

dl7265 is sending payment to me.

Redmanf1 has paid & his in on the way.

ajesh, Sent him a pm for clarification, have not heard back yet.

Buick1, his is paid for & on the way.

gsla has paid & his is on the way.

I've had a pm with a question about the '73 & up mirrors. I know the way they attach to the car are totally different but the glass itself is the same as older years & that is the only part I could use off of them, sorry for the confusion.

    68,
I have one black lighted one close to being ready. I'll pm you tomorrow maybe?
Those look like good cores although they are missing the light assembly & wiring. I could still use them though, what would you want for them?

I found a few more things you could use. Just a fair price on black light. Thanks Scott [IMG][IMG]

    Scott,
What's the status of your "stock"? I'd be interested in a stainless lighted gray. Are you still taking orders?
    Thanks!
    John
