Looking for 1 or more sets of exhaust manifolds as both of my latest projects wear headers. Thanks Guys and MERRY CHRISTMAS Joe
Hey Joe, I think I have a set or 2. Heard you looked at the "numbers matching" stage1 4 speed basket case a few days after I did.The #'s were'nt there, and so much wrong, what a pity, and the guy paid top buck on ebay .I told Todd to tell him it was a $4000 car at most and was'nt interested. gary
manifolds Hi Gary, that was a shame too bad.If it at least was a # matching car you could justify paying up for it.You were generous at 4,000 I told the owner it was a $2,500 mess.I thought he was gonna have a heart attack .Then he told me his brother paid 9,500 for that thing.Any ways are the mani's from a 70 if so what do you want for 2 sets. Thanks, joe
Joe, There is a chance I may have some. If I get some time I will take a look in the next week or two. Tim tcarson@vcn.com
Would those numbers carry over to a 70 Electra or are they GS specific. My motor, 70, came out of a 70 electra. I never used the manifolds as I have headers, they should still be buried in the garage. Allen allioop108@aol.com
70 Buick 455 engines all used the same manifolds so Electra, LeSabre, Riv and GS will have the same manifolds and casting numbers.
parts #'s I have 2 part #'s. Which one is correct for a 1970 GS 455?????? L side - 1233899 or L side - 1233451 E o No: Didn't mean to steal the thread. Thanks for the help. Jeff
