1970 15x7 WD1/F4 option plain steel wheels

    Wanted:1970 option code WD1 or F4 on GS 455 Wholesale car order form,
    15x7 plain steel wheels called (Sport Wheels) that came with dogdish hubcap and trim ring coupled with G60-15 RWL Goodyear polyglas tires.
    Will have either WD or WH stamped by valvestem hole on outside of rim.
    Want to buy these rims in any quantity you may have.

    rich I have some (4) I think . I will check condition . I just bought some doggies but I think I want to do the after market like I saw here on some aluminum rims . really looks cool

    Once again I have the parts but I think my date codes are way off here is whats on one wheel
    K22 6 11 T J
    MB 8 24
    wheel 3 I cannot read
    11 8 5 2 FL
    I am not even sure these ar Buick wheels they could be from anything . The are 15 and they do have doggies on them .

    I cannot say for sure that these are the correct ones your looking for . Itook a pic of the 3 I could get to . They are 15's . I will probably sell these and the doggies that all need a little ding removal . Let me know . Sorry it took so long but the 72 is ready now to go to the media blaster .

    They were the lower cost alternative wheel option to get into the Big Meat G60-15 RWL Goodyear Polyglas tire.

    They are are challenging to find because they are just an ugly plain steel wheel.
    I am sure the 70 GS 455 and GS Stage 1 cars factory equipped with these wheels had them ditched by second owner in mid 70's for a set of 15 x7 chrome wheels.So these wheels have basically all been lost.

    I have 2 1970 Big Block GS cars factory equipped with this wheel and tire option, so I continue to search for them.

    I wouldn't mind a set of those on my Skylark. Beats those gimpy 14X6 wheels. Too easy to light up the single-legger right rear tire.
