Does anyone know if there was a center console for a 1969 wildcat?

What center consoles will fit in a wildcat? (any other makes?)

    thanks

Do you mean an auto console that extends down the center between bucket seats or a separate storage a/k/a short console?

the long auto one, i will end up putting buckets in if need be, and a BM shifter.

My dad ordered his 69 cat with a long console with the buckets. I believe the gear indicators on the console were lit up and...I don't believe it had the gear indicator on the dash in the speedo unlike my X's? Someone will prob chime in here to confirm this?

can someone post a picture of one if they do?

i would like to see what it looks like.

If that skylark one would fit correctly on the transmission hump and everything, would the back go under the bench seat of is it too tall?

I don't believe the 69 had woodgrain on the console anywhere like the 70 in the photo above? I could be wrong, as its been a few years. you could always add some shag carpet to spice it up like i did on mine?

if anything i would just buy a bad condition top (cant see a reason to waste a good one?) and clean it up and paint it any color, probably black with some type of accenting.

Is there any major difference in the transmission humps on the wildcat and skylark?

still cant figure out if it will fit or not, they look to be near the same.

Maybe ill just buy one, make my own brackets, and make some type of under frame if it has gaps to close the holes, if there are any.

    thanks

    i think i might.

    Thanks

    Wait, it says:

    "1968, 1969 Buick Skylark , GS, STAGE 1 ,SPORTWAGON,
SPECIAL, DELUXE CENTER CONSOLE for Floor Shift"

But if that one will fit, that means the other Skylark ones will fit, right?

The ways and means department says it'll fit or it can be made to fit..

    thats good.

Recently i considered making my own custom console.

If and when i give up on that idea ill get some buckets and have myself a center console.

    Thanks
