1969 Stage 1 7029246 - Does it have a fixed Idle-Air Bypass System?

    I just stumbled on this post. I have (unfortunately) a commercially remanufactured Q-jet 7029240. Which should be a 1969 430 carb. Your baseplate is interesting. Mine looks identical (except for plugged 3rd screw)

    Cliff Ruggles said I had a 1967 baseplate. But yours is a 1969. Or are there other differences I'm missing? But we both have no bypass air.
    Do you happen to have the details on this carb? Idle tube size, DCR etc? Pictures of the inside to compare?

    Because I've just updated my carb with Cliffs rebuild set and probably his sizing recommendation.

    I'm interested, because mine runs like crap now. It won't idle.
