Hi Mike,very nice 69 stage 1,if things were diff I probably would have entertained the thought. BTW,what happened to the 72 RR GTX,I have one myself.
Congrats on the sale. I hope you got all the $$ you wanted. I remember thinking I should have bid myself but I am way too deep into my Suncoupe resto to buy it. And being partial to 70/72 I have no parts for the stepchildren Also I think I was one of the first to see it when you brought it in to BG. In a economy like we have now I am glad to here of a winner!
Thanks to all of you for the compliments and comments...I am a little sad to see it go, I know I will not have the opportunity to own another Buick that original, and with that kind of pedigree, any time soon. We just loaded it onto the transport truck a few minutes ago. It is going to a very nice new home, and I hope the new owner will have it done soon for everyone to enjoy. I made the decision based on the fact that I would not have had the funding to do it the right way for at least another year or so. I am anxious to get the Rebel Machine into the space that has been occupied by the Buick until now, and I plan on picking it up tomorrow night with the help of my buddy and his enclosed trailer...it's way too nice to drive in this weather!
