When I worked at a GoodYear store in the late 80's a guy that worked there had a 69 GP always thought they where sharp. But, not as sharp as the Skylark I bought when it came in for service.
In the area I lived in the 80's there was an SJ model 4 speed with the Pontiac hood tach. Pretty cool car.
I read somewhere that the '69 GP had the longest hood of any American car that year. I'm not sure if that's true but it sure is long.
That is what I read in Jim Wangers book. He said John DeLoren insisted that it have the longest hood.
Hmm ? Now the wheels are turning. Wasn't the Stutz Blackhawk built off of a GP ? Maybe DeLoren had something to do with it and had planned on putting a V12 in there ?
