Is this Buick's luggage rack or an aftermarket one from the day? I thought the air deflector looks cheap.

Anyway, I am thinking of putting this on my 68 Sportwagon, but would like to become more confident that it will fit. Does anyone have an assembly manual for 1969 that shows the luggage rack options? I would like to compare it to my 1968 assembly manual. A scan or photo of the pages out of the 1969 would be cool.

I don't think that's a factory rack or wind deflector.

Looks like the one I have in the box that is an aftermarket from the 70's. The wing is definately different from the factory one.

Though the rack part looks like it could be correct, the wing part is definitely not correct, for sure!
I had a '68 Sportwagon, so I know. BTW, I have correct '68-'69 dealer accessory ski rack if anyone is interested, came on a '68 Skylark I bought many years ago, could be had for shipping, if I can figure out how it comes apart to ship! RV

    OK

You need a ski rack in FL? I'll go to the garage and take a look tomorrow, and see what it takes to make it shipable. I took it off the car and placed it on top of the '73 GS about 10 yrs ago, and there it sits, it is in the '68 Dealer Accessories brochure. I'll get it out and take some pics and figure out how to get it apart to ship and let you know, asap, RV
