YES it has some rust issues but it has a ton of rare options: 350-4 nom, auto, power windows, factory a/c, factory cruise control, factory rear window defogger, column shift tilt wheel, DEALER installed brite headlite sentinal system (I THINK thats what its called?) ...factory AM-FM radio with power antenna...!! excellent clean front, rear & shoulder seat belts dated 45A68...excellent sail panel interior lenses, excellent tail light lenses, ALMOST PERFECT backup light lense unit!! Nearly perfect stainless trim all around including wheel well trims and all body side moldings are nice and dimple-free! Excellent spotless a/c dash pad, good usable grille, (has a few minor cracks) good front/rear bumper cores, good usable easy fix core support...good fan shroud and 7 blade fan....minor pitted headlite bezels..the chassis is straight and has surface rust only...aluminum drums from what I can tell, a 10 bolt open rear, excellent factory tinted glass all-the-way-around and prolly more I can't remember...Oh yea..clean Florida title, protecto plate, and glovebox owners manual...I am offering this car AS-IS, for just $1950 THIS WEEK ONLY!! Frank...No..I have NOT attempted to start this car. As I mentioned its been sitting since 2000, untouched till I moved it last weekend. I am offering the car in as-is condition relatively cheap. However..for add'l $, for parts & labor...I will attempt to get it running IF a sale depends on it! :grin: BTW to all interested...it appears as tho I may end up parting it out..I've had "tons of PM's" about parts..the ratio "Parting vs entire car" is about 7:1. Well,there's a fellow advertising in the parts wanted section for a rimblow steering wheel.The centerbar on your Skylark's steering wheel has the style that was used on the "rimblow" steering wheel. I tried calling your cell number that you emailed and all I get is a fax sound on the other end. My friend hasn't told me yet if he has a '65 Chevelle 12 bolt rear layin' around and the '67 Electra ragtop I have is a big project ,which doesn't bother me,but most people want something real easy. I have a number for a '67 Electra in Ga. that the seller wants $1,000.

Wheelz, As discussed, I am attempting to purchase the entire vehicle, but the shipping is outrageous from Florida to Minnesota. I am still trying to find a way to transport and/or haul the car this direction. In the event that I do not purchase the entire vehicle, I am confirming my intent to purchase the following items as noted in my original PMs... Entire A/C setup... radiator, compressor, brackets, hoses, lines, condensor and ac box mounted on firewall, ducts, vents, wires, cables, controls, and dash pad... In other words; everything to convert a non-ac car to an ac car. Entire Cruise setup... canister, lines, hoses, cables, brackets, controls, and bezel... In other words; everything to add cruise to a car that does not have cruise. I will not need the Power Window setup... As we found out, the 68 is a one year only. Thanks, Gil :beers2:
Ok. To anyone else interested in this car..I had reduced my asking price to help a lil bit towards shipping costs for Gil... still not enuf..ou: ..SO my deal is this. I would really rather NOT part this car! Its too complete ..has too many options...and from the response I've had, .. parting it out would leave a hulk with yet a bunch of good parts that I'd have to thro away. What a shame to have to do that. However I will part it IF thats the only option I have. My thinking is someone out there, needs a nice 69 LOADED with rare options for their own project...BTW..I had forgot to mention the right front fender and passenger door are EXCELLENT! SO, now I am offering the car now for just $1700. Assistance in delivery to the southeast is not out of the question. PLEASE HURRY!
