It looks like it needs a friend- but bidding was at $1800 Cdn (about 1300 U.S) No reserve. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2436020774&category=2030 Todd
Looks like a chrome air cleaner lid??? .....but the valve covers are red, maybe they were repainted and it really is a stage 1? The hood emblem, what's left of it, looks like it possibly said Stage1. What a great find if it is a stage 1. Even if it's not.
The nice thing about Canadian sold GS's is that you can get all the documentation on the car from GM of Canada (build sheet-selling dealer, full option list etc). I say its worth the $$. Todd
ou: I forgot about that, you would think I'd have remembered since I myself did that for my 69 which was built in Canada. At the time, it was like $25 or so.
Re: I thought.... Dan - All Canadian built cars had the 12 bolt rear. ALL factory Stage1 convertibles built by Buick were manufactured in Flint MI, regardless of year. Some of these cars were then sent up north to Canada and would have the import sheet
The ad says that this car has "possie traction", if that doesn't sound Canadian, I don't know what does!
Yeah, yeah, that was my point They should all be posi's up there...Kinda suspiciousl the VIN isn't there, you know so we could tell if it was a Flint car.ou: ou: ou: And it is NOT like he has a perfect ebay history either, stage 1. Don't count on it.
Ken, Another Canadian built GS 400 resides in my (bodyman's/painters) garage... It's nice to hear someone close by has a Canadian.. Ehh?
