Hello, i and my 69 Buick convertible are located in Germany (Bavaria). 69 Buick-parts are very rare to find here, but I want to drive with a gs hood in future because it looks really great. Shipping and tax cost are horrible when you are importing a complete hood. Does anywone sell a rotted hood (rusted badly on the front or underside) or a hood from a front crash car? I ONLY need the cutted out ram-air part to weld it on my "normal" skylark hood. I will pay additional to the part all shipping, packing and tax costs. I also need the chrome-vent trim, the two rubberparts an a ram-aircleaner. Who is able to help? PS: Excuse the bad english...
I have a pair of 69 GS hood vents on e-bay NOW, 1 day left. Item # 8045034515. Some pitting in black painted area, and light pittimg on chrome all mounting studs there. Great for driver. Starting price is 24.95 US. Jim Schilf palbuick
Check parts for sale. Go back a week or two. There is just what you asked for on the hood for sale(maybe" Painekiller" selling it) . All the chrome inserts pitted in the black area it just takes time to fill them in. Good luck Dave

I have seen the hood-vents in ebay several days ago and asked palbuick if he has a hood too... I am thinking of buying the vents and to hope that i will find a hood (without vents) in near future...
Naast Hi,I have a set of those inserts for a 69.They are not great but they are usable.I also have a couple other parts for 69 S-1 if anybody is interested,like 69 S-1 valve covers, emblems etc.....Was reluctant answering you because you are so far,and shipping is a killer.BrunoD.
