1969 GS 400 Hdtp clone car.....low 12 sec.street sleeper...all done ready for summer

This is my painter Bob Bourff's car that is offered up here.
It's all cone and ready to rock. Cloned from a grandma's car two door low mileage cream puff.....this is one beautiful and fast Buick....it has run 12.20's on pump gas. Only a couple thousand miles on it since it was finished last summer.....it's VERY sharp. Need's a GS grille to complete the clone job.
Everything is new or re-built and it has a 12-bolt rear.

Pictures of cars are always nice but I would make sure people get a good look at cars in person before taking an trailer down to pick it up.

Yes......here's one.....and remember always call the seller and get an EXACT description of the condition of the car from the SELLER before you make a deal and drive a 1000 miles to pick up a car...........

Is that rear seat a post coupe seat? I didn't think the coupes used the long seat like that one? I ask, because it would give 3-4" more seat room (which would be nice).

Base model special had a wide seat without rear arm rests and ash trays. that is a correct style seat for what the car was originally

Congrats Bill,I have to say at 16.5 obo you got a great deal.
That man did a beautiful job,probably the best tribute/clone car I have seen.Very tastefully done.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to hear the specs :beers2:

Bill I might bring it out? I was thinking about the Test & Tune in March??? at Bunker Hill? I need some time behind the wheel. It is alot more car than I am used to.

Dave....She has a 70 455 that he has built up very nice! It runs better than anything I have ever driven.:Brow: Turbo 400, 3.73 rear end, air bag, just a really well done car. The pictures do not do it justice! New paint, new top, new interior, etc..
