Not the best picture but this is my pride and joy. After 15 years of running it completely stock it is now undergoing a killer resto/mod. Here's what's happening.

    New Interior w/ custom stereo

    Edelbrock Performer Carb/Manifold set up

Hooker Super Competition Headers into 3" Flowmaster Exhaust and Mufflers

    MSD Ignition

Hotchkis Coil Springs, Sway Bars and Rear Suspension

I'm not touching the paint or body because their fine and a super expensive paint job would just make me paranoid to drive it. And this will be a driver. Car should be done by the end of January and I'll post pics. Any comments are cool. And yes, I'm keeping all the old stock parts.

    No pics yet

Sorry. Will defintely have more. Including the car in dismantled stages. By the way that's a sweet 64. Love that body style.

    Update

Ah yes, the rule of thumb would be that it's always about three times the time and three times the money to do it right. Once we got into the engine, we realized it was untouched for 35 years. Yay! So we rebuild it very solid and very stock with a few upgrades. The interior took way longer and the custom stereo became a super trick one of a kind job. So now, finally, it's out of upholstery. From here it's putting everything back together and hoping it all works.

Should have posted pics of complete monster in a couple of weeks. Also, will be dyno testing shortly.

Id love to see what you're doing with the stereo install - Convert's are a bitch to set up with good tunes and not cutting anything.
