Sure it's not 2.93 posi? Any pictures? Interested in rear decklid/quarter panel moldings that go above the bumper if you've got a nice one. Thanks
Hey Brian- No, not sure that it's not a 2.93. I will check. Going from memory on that. I will check on the quarter moldings tomorrow when I go to the farm. Thanks! Also going to snap some pics.
You really need to specify which parts you are expressing interest in, so that our other members know where they are in line.
Hey Mike. Body and frame are typical midwestern. Quarters need done, trunk floor, outer wheelhouses... Floorpans are pretty good cowl/windshield ares no rust, rockers no rust. Frame I will have to look more closely at to give you an honest description. I didn't make it down o the farm yesterday as I had planned, but am going this afternoon. I will also check on shipping for items people have expressed interest in. Thanks! Chris
In Line for a top part in the event you are willing to "part" with it..:Brow:. sent a PM with description (its the floating rear top bow)
Possibly interested in the pinch weld molding. Does it have the long armrest base plates on it, if so definitely interested in those.
I'm at 64063, so you might check with you favorite shipper and see. I will pack them up, but the shipping will have to be added to the price of the parts. Thanks! Chris ---------- Post added at 11:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:44 PM ---------- Hey John- Seat is pretty nice, but not perfect. It's black vinyl, original material. I will check tomorrow and make better notes as to it's exact shape, but overall, it's a good solid seat to either recover for a showcar, or it would clean up and work as-is in a driver. No rips, as I remember, but again, I will investigate further..... Thanks! Chris
Parts update. Hood sold. Breather sold. Grill sold. Nice front bumper sold. Power top motor/cylinders sold. Wiper swith sold Antenna sold GS emblems sold Average front bumper has a rust hole in it- quarter sized lower left corner Rear bumper is a solid core Black dash pad is very nice. A/C AM/FM is complete with knobs- would do a package with the front and rear speakers and radio bezel Maplight mirror has minor desilvering around the perimeter- maybe 3/8" Car has the long armrests. The chrome bases aren't the best, the pads have a few cracks, but the plastics and the stainless inserts are very nice. Still haven't check the posi- sorry. Will the next time I'm down there. Remote mirror has some pitting, but would do on a driver, or replate. Pinchweld stainless is real nice. a couple of small, small imperfections, but would fix very easily Back seat is pretty nice- bottom has one small tear about 1 inch by 1 inch vee. Black factory vinyl, would clean up and be nice as-is for a driver car. 70 on a 100 scale Rear interior pieces are same condition, and all complete with the courtesy light bezels and uncracked lenses. Have all A/C stuff Radiator shroud is missing-sorry Radiator support cross brace is there and complete Hoodlatch assy is complete Disc brake assy is all complete P/S is there/complete Correct intake Correct carb All firewall components intact/unmolested Complete front harness for headlights/park/ horns uncut, unmolested, original tape intact. Even fender looms still 100% intact! Chrome grill surround usable, but not perfect- 70 on a 100 scale Top frame is all intact- front bow is a little rusty but could be used Rear floating bow is there- $100 Decklid is extremely nice- is a skylark lid quarter trim pitted on right side, left side is missing power bench seat works well, needs recovered for a nice car seatbelts are rusty, but could be salvaged Floorpans in front are nice, but across center floor support is rusty- weird. Rear floorpans are nice. Quarters are rusty, as are the outer wheelhouses and trunkfloor. Trunkfloor is actually not real bad- 70-on a 100 scale. Been hit easy left rear at some point. Frame is somewhat rusty, I still need to devote more time to specifically looking it over. Will do that and check the posi the next time I'm at the farm- next day or so. Also still seeking out options on shipping the bulky items. As I said when I initially posted, I'm not real crazy about shipoping the bigger items, especially when they are subject to shipping damage. Thanks to all. Chris
Would you have, the rear sway bar & interested in, the black interior .... front doors & rear panels ! Thanks, Jeff
For some reason the car has a front swaybar, but not the rear. I don't think the lower control arms are boxed either, but I will check. GS emblems are gone fron the front door panels. The pass side door panel is very nice, while the driver side needs some love. The rears are excellent. Remember these are off a convert, and the rears are different than 2dht. Also, this car had power windows and doorlocks, so the switch holes are cut out. Backs I think interchange, though, as the cutout for the switch looks to just be the same hole they cut for the hand crank. I think the engine harness is completely uncut, but I will verify. All of the firewall harness is complete and uncut, and the headlight/horn harness is completely original, uncut, and tape is all original and in good shape. It's real hard to find a piece like that that would clean up and be used on someone's 100 point original showcar as is like this one. But the engine harness I will check on. I believe it to be intact and uncut, but some of the tape is missing from down by the starter. I think. Thanks guys. Chris
Chris, I am interested in the horns from the car and the 2 plastic vertical rad sipports bolted in the front of the core support if they are not cracked. What is the condition of the voltage reg from the firewall. Let me know Thanks Terry
