One of my freinds gave me what looks to be a 1969 grill surround, I'll dig it out and get the part number to confirm. It's cracked in one spot and the chrome isn't all that great. $10 plus shipping PM me if I don't respond on here right away Maybe you can practice repairing metal or if you're planning to paint it or something. Yuengling not included!
I could use a spare, "just in case." How about $15, if you can cover the remainder of whatever the shipping charge turns out to be (WV, 25430) ?
Thanks, Bill. If shipping costs make it not worth your while selling, I will understand and maybe I can chip in a little more. Or else you can hang onto it, and think up an innovative use for the part--maybe make it into a ham radio antenna, or the main part of some mobile art for a museum. News flash: Don is looking for a grille and surround. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?261390-69-GS-grille&p=2144621&posted=1#post2144621 If he needs this surround of yours, I am okay with you selling it to him. If it's 'more primo quality' that he needs, then I am still interested. Either way is cool with me.
Jeff, would $20 shipped work for you? ha posted this right after you mentioned that. Yea if he's interested and you want to give him 1st dibs it's up to you.
I can go $20. So if Don decides to go for one of those other offers that have been, er, offered, then just PM me with an address to send the check, and we'll be in business.
Jeff, I sent you a PM, but I'm not sure if my PMs have been going through lately. But I haven't heard from Don, so it's yours if you're still interested.
