For sale is a 1969 Buick Skylark 2 door, no motor, trans, $500 or obo. Car has complete stock white and black interior, which is in good shape. Factory steering wheel has no cracks. Heat has been removed. The grille surround is cracked and the grille has a few breaks near the crack. It is a Chicago area car so it is rusty. Floor boards have a hole on the passenger side under the dash. Trunk floors have some rusted through is a couple small spots but could easily be repaired with a 3-piece trunk floor kit. Frame has a rust hole which has been repaired with 1/4" steel plate welded in place to maintain the integrity of the frame. I can transport the car to you up to 100miles for a fee. I will post more pictures of the car, including interior shots, at the end of the week. [/IMG] [/IMG]
If you part it out, how's the chrome back around where the top meets the quarter? Is it better than the attached picture? Also, interested in the steering wheel, must be crack free and not bent. Thanks, Rich
Hi, I am interested but would ike to see engine compartment pics. Does it have a driveshaft and radiator? Brakes work? Thanks, Allen
Allen, I have one engine compartment shot posted but I will post a couple more for you tomorrow. Car does have a radiator and inner fenders, but they are not in the car right now. I junked the driveshaft so I don't have one for the car. As far has breaks the car comes with the power master and booster and has drums all around, but there are no brake lines in the car. They were in bad shape so I had pulled them out and was going to replace them but never got around to it. Car also has no gas tank.
Whoops, my mistake I never posted the engine compartment shot I took. Here it is, let me know if you want to see anymore photos.
And I promised the wife I wouldn't drag home any moreou: If you get tired of looking at it and it ends up going to the crusher, remember me:bglasses:
