Does anyone know if the "400" cu in 340 HP engine was offered in the 1969 Lesabre. Or was the 455 offered also. Thanx for the input

70 was the first year of the 455.You probably have the 430.

The only 69 LeSabre or LeSabre Custom engine options were a 350 cid Buick with a 2 barrel carb or a 350 cid Buick with a 4 barrel carb. If the car has the word 400 associated with it, the 400 refers to the fact that you could get it with the TH400 transmission. It does not mean that you can get the car with a 400 cid engine.

Thanx for the reply. It was a big help. Solves the mystery of the 400 connotation.
