this is for the 10 bolt 8.2 grand sport heavy duty cross pin two piece unit. Ok it has 10 bolts holding ring gear on ring gear has stampings 1382745 40 11 gmc v carrier is a 2 pinion unit with issue date 5/30/1969 looks like carrier number is 683030 but it is very hard to make out. It also is a two piece unit with bolts on the inside (closer to shafts) then the ring gear bolts. It also looks to have 28 spline shafts and is a non c clip unit. thank you please call or text 2485680497 matt. asking 350.00 for unit..all i have is the ring gear on unit (no pinion) i got this from a guy who prostreeted his 69 gs and he told me recently that it is the unit from his gs.
Need to know if the posi unit has 2different size bearings? If so please forward some pics of the spider gears. I would like to see if this fits my application .

Hello guys. apparently I didn't follow the rules of the board. I posted an item for sale with a phone number. A member contacted me on a phone call. Then he agreed to purchase. So I post a ( sale pending) post. Now I am a failure and treated like a child because I didn't push my item on a member who could not pick up a phone and call me. If I see a item I want to have your earn straight im going to ring that phone off the hook until I get a reply. Matt, our sales policies, which are posted at the top of the sales section, dictate that potential buyers are required to post their interest in the sale thread itself, in order to "get in line" for the chance to make the purchase. And the seller is required to work with propective buyers in the order in which they posted in the thread. Please take the time to read those policies. C. Rob, the seller made an honest mistake. You'd be surprised at how many sellers don't realize we actually have rules in place for the sales section. Seems to me they had to be explained to you recently as well.
