Car runs good but does have an exhaust leak that will need to be addressed. It is not a show car but gets lots of looks and compliments.
Question: this Olds steering wheel shown sure looks familiar. Is it the same (different trime cover of logo) as the optional '70 Buick "rim blower" steering wheel?
No Ken, that's not a rim blow wheel. It's just the standard 1969 Cutlass/442 wheel. Interestingly, in 1970 Cutlass/442 used the same wheel, but it was mounted upside down.
At first I thought it was the one that sold on BAT this week but that one was a 3-sp. manual. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1...=email&utm_campaign=bat_watched_listing_ended
look at the picture of the right rear of the car. Look close at the vinyl top just above the chrome trim. Is that not the kiss of death rust showing under the vinyl?
100%.... get tired of people giving cars the kiss of death from one or two bubbles under a vinyl top. Pull the vinyl, patch the roof, and pay some guy under $1000 to redo the top. Bam, done.
