I'm looking for a 69 4 speed ragtop in pretty much any condition EXCEPT a flat out parts car that needs everything.Complete car preferred,although missing parts like some interior or a bad bumper is O.K. From a turnkey showcar to needing a ground-up resto ,as long as it's got the right engine and trans ,straight frame ,interior doesn't matter.More options ,the better.Thanks for taking the time to help me!

Well, since my 72 is almost complete, its time to refresh my hunt. I'm a little more picky now, but if you look a the date on the first post , you can see its been a few years and I have one to enjoy while looking for the next. I didn't have a car to do and always like the 69s and 72s. So here goes. Must be a numbers car. Engine ,trans, frame, rear end. NO PROJECTS. Must be a running driving car with the original drivetrain installed. I just don't have the space to store stuff. I have turned down a few that have gone up for sale in the past because they were too nice. Just not in the budget. Faded paint, fine, bumpers need rechomed, fine. Ideally and older restoration with everything there just looking tired. Frame offed car isn't what I'm looking for. Buckets a must. I'm not in a hurry, so keep me in mind if you hear of anything. This guy had a 1969 GS 400 4 speed convertible for sale in Toronto area I think. The car is a complete running driving car I think has 70,000 miles on it. Says is all numbers match car from US. 1 of 213. I never seen the car nor do I know him. Here is his email. kkarl@sympatico.ca Good luck Dave
