Has there ever been a thread here on how to take good car photos? It's not rocket science, but requires a certain degree of thought and photographic knowledge. I think it's very important if you're selling a car to present it in the best possible light, and I would certainly enjoy hearing tips along that line. I know there are a bunch of great board member pics, so there are folks here who know what they're doing.
Sometimes I wonder if the lousy CL and eBay pictures are deliberate. I’ve gone to look at cars with lousy photos in the ad and discovered they were lousy for a reason.
Kurt Ernst from Hemmings did an article the other day on selling your car. He started out with a sarcastic couple of paragraphs that he eventually got roasted for by those who didn't quite see the humour in it. He pretty much nailed it; all the things you don't want to see in an ad if you want to sell your car were there.
