1968 GS 400 Quadrajet 7028242 C LG

I have a Beautifully restored 1968 GS 400 Quadrajet , Fully restored !!! New throttle plates in the primary . Rebushed shafts . All new High quality gaskets & pump kit . Reaplated & flow tested . Date code 0388

My rebuilder worked for the largest AC delco certifed Quadrajet remanufacturer the 1970s .

Do you know what the date code is? It should be stamped on the back right mouning pad.

The date is 0388 . It is on the Date of the base plate . I verified this with my Carb guy .

This should bolt directly up to a 430ci as well right?

 

I just Sold the 430 carb . Yes it will bolt on .The jetting may need to be slightly Richer . May just be in the metering rods
