Ed, Are those 15" wheels? If so, what size (15x7?) and what size tires? Good luck with the sale, nice car:TU:
15x7's with 245/15/60's all around. Thanks for the comments, now just to find someone that appreciates this oddball stepchild!
Beautiful car! I appreciate it, too, but I already have a 68 GS400 coupe and the wife says I can only have one...
Ed, Any chance you could add some pics from under the hood and the undercarriage? Either here or on EBay.
I crawled under as best I could and posted some pics of the undercarriage, this was an IL car for most of its life and appears to have been undercoated early on, frame rails, floors and trunk solid. My reserve is $18,500 which I think is fair given the originality, history, and condition of the car. Again, not a trailer queen by any means but a nice Big Block, Drop top, stick car for under 20K? I can assure you that I have more in to it than that.
About 14 hours left, Lots of questions, picture collectors, story tellers, horse traders and flakes, but no serious offers,, and no I won't finance it with your 5% down or Go Kart trade... :blast: I get it is a 68, I get it is a 3 speed, I get the color isn't resale red, but am I that far off the mark here?
Yup - Guy seems to have the magic touch though, I could barely draw interest on Ebay, put it on Craigslist and then I had three guys in a row actually see the car and they all wanted it, go figure.
Seems like all the bids (14) were within a few hours of the cars listing. more than likely shill bids to bring the price up.
And flipped again! with an asking price of - - - - - - - $32,500....... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Skyla...tr=true&hash=item5b15c7ab6d&item=391207431021
do a google search of the seller, either under the ebay name, or Lash Auto Sales, and it is not very good. BBB in Florida ranks them as F, based upon number of complaints. Another reason to not buy from a dealer
