Can anyone tell me what kind of rear end is in a stock 1968 Gran Sport? It's a 350 if that helps. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

But optional rear end ratios and posi were available too, so "stock" could be other than the base config. Mike, wasn't the standard ratio also dependent on whether the car is a stick or auto, air or non-air?

What was the stardard gear ratio in a 1968 non AC, 3 on the tree, GS350 ?

Are they the same rear ends as the 67GS 400?

  6. Ed, 68 is the first year for the oddball Buick carrier and gears. 67 will be narrower and have the more common BOP gears and carriers. 67 rears have aftermarket parts available.
