Alright I'm at it again I finally have the money and I am rebuilding the front suspension and steering on my 68 buick lesabre with the alternate design power steering, is in not the saginaw one, I have found all of the parts I need however I can not find a place that sells center links all the quotes I have gotten are anywhere from 2 to 5 months and 240 to 360 dollars to rebuild my center link if it is even rebuild-able core ( I am worried that it wont be rebuild-able as it is very very shot on the drivers side) and I am also under a time crunch as the house I rent cant have cars sitting for more than a couple days, does anyone know of any center link at all that would work? I have done some research on this and the closes measurements I can find to my center link is a 1973 chevelle center link. I have tried kanter, PST, rareparts inc., napa and a couple others I cant think of off hand right now.

Has anyone had problems like this with their 65-68 fullsize buick? If so what was your solution? My brother in law has all the tools (welder and cut off wheel) to modify the chevelle to work if that is the route I am going to have to go but I would prefer just a direct bolt on solution if at all possible. (I should mention for you guys who are going to say that isn't safe that custom center links are made all the time for offroad applications and my brother in law has done welding for a long time and I have personally seen his welds hold up during demolition derby's getting pounded and smashed where factory welds have failed.) Thank you to everyone with input and ideas, I really do appreciate the help this is the last thing to be fixed before I can finally drive this car after 5 years of owning and working on it.
