I have a buddy tossing around the idea of getting a '68 LeSabre for his dad for his birthday in a couple years, a '68 was his dads first car so a bit of nostagila there (I think it's seeing my Skylarks every other day :Brow. Anyways, he's looking for a project car for under $3500 and non-convertable (He said hardtop, but I'm not sure if there is a true hardtop LeSabre, and a post car like the skylarks), pretty much open to all other engine, trans, options/features etc...... Leaning towards a car that has solid sheet metal and working drive train rather than a good interior. the closer to the Chicago area the better, but he isn't opposed to transporting.
