So, vehicle number two that I have to sell. It a GS400 that I acquired in a trade. It has all the trim pieces although they are off the car right now. I don't have the front or rear seats. I still have to get them from the guy I traded it with. It is a bench column shift. It has A/C.

So, she has some rust arounf the rear window - not bad at all but it's there. There is a little amount around the wheel wells but again, not bad at all - just little holes smaller that a 1/2 inch. The worst rust is on the passenger side a pillar and that isn't bad at all either. It is worse that the other two areas.

It is a vinyl top 400. Comes with a brand new gas tank and and I have a straight front bumper to put on it as well as the front clip including the grille. Grille is not perfect but is complete. Overall, it's a good resto project. I'd like to sell by this coming weekend. I am negotiable to a point depending on interest.

The driver side is fine. The passenger side has the normal issue; however, in looking at it, it appears that the tray took the brunt of the rot. The fender well has some to the outside and surprisingly enough, the core portion looks to be mostly intact.

Lastly, you're more than welcome to take a look - I do have a rather clean comparitively core support that I was saving for that special car someday. I'll PM you my number if you're interested - I'm about a half hour from you.

Here are some pics of the rusty areas. I tried to place a ruler next to the holes so you have an idea of the scope of damage. If anyone needs closer ups or more detail, let me know

  10. Surely I'm to late on this. That seems to be the rule for me. I ran across your add today and was wondering if you still had the 68 GS. Jeff

Not too late. Although I still am getting requests locally for parts, I haven't begun tearing into it. I do have a guy that is coming Sunday - wish me luck!!
