1968 - 1972 Olds 442 wanted

Yep we're looking for a 442 to fill an empty spot in the garage and also to re spark what I had as my first car . It was a 68 442 red with black interior and a black top . And a glove box full of speeding tickets and a trunk full of 8 track tapes !

We're gonna hang on to the 68 LeSabre and Shirls 72 Skylark but the we are looking for a nice #'s matching 442 .

What part of the country are you in? Have you check out realoldspower.com? I've seen some interesting deals on Craigslist.com too.

check craigs list portland under cars for sale...1972 442 350 70k miles,orange black vinyl top...looks good in the pics,price is $10k.

69 Hurst Parade car clone

Hi Bruce,

Here is one I saw on e bay the other day.

Personally I'd probably at least lose the white interior and maybe the door decal but it is a big block convertible and the price is staying within reason currently.

Thanx John and both of you other guys below John . That 442 website could be a help ... John I did see that car but I am looking for the real deal , original condition or restored and unmodified in anyway . A4 speed car would be nice but the right automatic car would be great also .

Alot of clones and incorrect engines , incorrect repaints , headers , cut up interior etc . are out there . I have been looking for awhile now and will keep looking till we find one .

I posted an ad on 442.com a few months ago looking for the 69 W32 I used to own. Not only did I find it but received a number of leads for various 442's too. Their site is very helpful and reminds of this one with good folks willing to help out a fellow hobbyist.

Hi David , We hate to part with the '56 but we can't keep them all . The garage is full now with 1 over at Marks garage now . I have wanted a 442 for years and I believe it will be a good idea to buy one now . The prices keep going up and up .

The '56 is one VERY nice car . It will be missed believe me .
