I'm looking to upgrade the 'Sportwagon' script badges to finish a restoration on my 67 and wondered if anyone had any ideas as to where to find excellent used ones, NOS, repros? Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have a pair of excellent used ones, $50. I'll have to dig them out and get you a picture.

Thanks for your response - it appears that we are both located in Washington - what are the odds?????

I was looking through one of my emblem drawers earlier today and I actually have the tailgate emblem as well. I also have the 400 emblems. I'll try and get some pictures posted. I'm in Eastern Washington which as you know is a high dry desert and a lot of the parts I find over here are in pretty great shape with no rust or corrosion.

Email the photos when you have a chance and I may be able to use all of them. Thanks.

Based on some photos, the Sportwagon script badges for the rear fenders and tailgate are the same for 65, 66 & 67. Does anyone have nice used or NOS scripts badges for any of these wagons? Any leads are appreciated.

I have several sets, how nice do they have to be?

Looking for emblems with no corrosion or damage. A couple of mine are ok but if I can find no corrosion and nice chrome it is a good upgrade. If you can email photos that would be great! Thanks for your response,

I still have lots of parts left from my SportWagon days and probably have a nice script or two if you don't get what you need from others. Just let me know.:TU:

Here's the new script with the 'shoulders' blacked out so the chrome letters have some 'pop' on a silver (platinum mist) car. (The photo is clear but the upload shows up as splotchy and very grainy). Thanks Mike.

    Ed,

My info indicates the Sportwagon 400 came standard with the 260 hp 340 with a four barrel carb and st400. It was available as an option on the regular Sportwagon that came with a 220 hp 340 with a two barrel carb. The Special Deluxe Wagon came with a 210 hp 300 with a two barrel carb as standard equipment. The attached photo shows the car before this winter 'detailing' project started. Regards,

    Arland
