Someone wrote 67 Skylark on the back of one of them. So that's what I'm posting them as. Both fender moldings . They do have some small dings and scratches. One corner is bent outward slightly but looks like it could be repaired easily. There are clips on the backside. See photos. $75 + shipping from 60586. Thanks. Brian
Hey Brian, I'm no expert, but i'm pretty sure those are for a Special. '67 Skylarks had no such moldings. FYI
Thanks me neither. They came in a pile of parts. Marker on back looks like 67....who knows maybe 68. I think I need to start looking up internet pictures.
67 specials have a flat molding thats isnt pointed....unless there something obscure ive bever seen..ive parted a few specials and special deluxes and nothing like that came off any of them
Special deluxes do have pointed moldings on the rear fender. Towards front fender flat ending in the portyholes trim piece
wierd..looks like nothing ive ever had..and ive had a few junkers...maybe i just didnt pay attention..
If you look closely at the first couple of pics Brian posted you can see that both moldings have a slight bend or arc to them, just like the moldings on the front fenders of the black '69 in the pic above.
if they are 67 special they are 1/4 panel not fender...theres pics out there and those moldings go from the back of the venti port to the tail..but i still am not sure...looking at this..id say they could be 67 special deluxe..cant find a clear pic they would just be longer on a 2 door...baffled..for some reason i thought they where square on the end..not pointed...and theres other pics that show the gentle curve on the moldings
When I seen these moldings I said to myself man I think I had a set of these many years ago or I seen the before...... I looked at a pic of the 68 GS I bought and they look like this design but unsure if the curve is the same..
