    Hey guys.

I know there are others running this engine in their 67's. What upper radiator hose are you using? The one i have is a generic brand. It's causing a high spot and a air pocket, because the highest point is above the return into the radiator. I need to eliminate this. Please tell me what hose to use.

    Thanks,

    Dave

Until you find the right hose here is a way to get rid of the air in the system:

Remove the rad cap, run the engine at 1500 rpm till the thermostat opens and the air will burp out the top of the rad. Shut off the engine, top up the rad if needed, put the cap on and you will 100% have no air in the system.

    alec296 i need another buick

Air pocket in an upper hose will get pushed out to radiator anyway. And it should not affect the engine temp.

    Thanks for the responses guys.

I picked up a 340 hose for a 67. I made it work. No more high spot. And looks stock.
