Wow! for someone with 6k, and a BBB laying in the shop, this one is a great candidate for a Stage 1 clone! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2439031188
Harvey, your answer In January it will be 2 yrs. The car went to Mass. Sold it for $8500ou: ou: and anotherou: ou: Had more than half of that in body/paint:eek2:
Anybody Remember How Much$$ Anyone know what kind of $ this black car changed hand's at? Who did it go to? o No: Just curious
UPDATE!! I just purchased this car picked it up on sat.,i spoke to the original owner and everything,i got the protecto plate and all docs, the car is an original 37k mile car,the original owner sold it to Nick in `98 with 33k miles on it,then Nick sold it to the fella i bought it off,the car sat from 69-98 till the original owner sold it,i found out WHY!! the seat covers were changed, when the guy ordered the car in `67 when he got out of the service he thought that the Pearl Yellow interior was Dove and when he got the car he saw yellow and freaked out cause it was"too loud" he claims, anyway he took the seats to an upholstery shop and re did the front and rear seats in a dove color but in this 66 looking pattern, back then he said he didnt care about seat patterns all he wanted was to tone down that yellow, the car is extremely clean, the ashtray and all the chrome are like NOS,i am happy i bought this car, been wanting since i lost it on ebay a few years back. Thanks
That was quick.:TU: I noticted it has a white 4 speed shifter knob like your red 67. The two 67's GS's with a 4 gear I acquired have a black knob with no pattern. The pattern was on the console. Perhaps both colours were assembled this way in 67. The am/fm radio is rare. The paint job looks real nice. Glad you found what you were lookin for. It's SWEET. You just got to something with the rims. Ray
Ray,the shifter on this car was replaced by the original owner back in `67 with this Hurst shifter cause the original shifters were sloppy,on my conv`t i have a Hurst shifter with an adaptor on it to use the stock shifter but i have a white ball on that yes.the paint job is not too shabby but i will be redoing the car soon,as for the rims and tires thats only one of the small things i have in mind for this car to change. Thanks
No doubt the rims are a small thing to change. You have a knack for finding the right stance.:TU: Thanks for the info on the shifters. Good Luck with this rare find.(33,000 miles) All the Best. Ray
Congrats George!:TU: Nice to see you finally got the car you wanted. I'm still working on putting my 'dream' '66 together... one of the many 'GS's formerly owned by George' Hey do you know the guy in NYC with the black 4 speed '67? I saw it at a car show in November.
Thank you very much Walt.no i`ve never seen a black `67 4-speed in NYC??what show did you see it at? Thanks
