I need to reinstall a tail light stainless to the lens on my GS. The lens is old and brittle, what is the best way to install this guy without damaging the lens? I tried to push it on, starting at one end, but I couldn't get it to seat all the way. Do I need to use any adhesive, and if so what kind? Thanks.
Mike, I use 3M Trim or emblem adhesive. Comes in a squeeze tube. Just applied a small amount, pushed the piece on and then hold it on with tape until dry.
