He had a price in the 55K range?

How much did he get for it?

I have a Artic white car with black interior with AC tinted windows, original turbo 400 and original motor which have been rebuilt.

I guess I read it to quickly. I think I was gasping for air when I saw the 55K.

I think I want to hold on and not sell the AC car for now.

There have been a few for sale recently on ebay. I can recall at least 4 of them. Maybe one had ac.

I will bet in the next 12 months you will see a dozen or more 67 GS convertibles.

The only problem now is that guys that have cars that not much left is original. Plus they need a complete restoration. They are asking crazy prices for cars that sold cheap a couple of years ago.

I do have one 67 GS Convertible. I will be trying to sell on ebay this fall.

It is a Fremont car that has a body that has never seen rust. It has been painted but all the panels are original. I have put thouands in this car rebuilding everything.

I looks as there were not many Fremont GS convertibles produced. My body tag number is 95 and I have photo of another body tag from the same week in the next month that is 114. Maybe less than 150 GS convertible were made in Fremont. Original Red interior bucket seat car which only a few in the entire US were made with red interior, maybe more rare than ac. It also came with, Tilt, power windows, turbo 400. I really took the time to make sure it was as correct as possible. I know that there are some consourse guys out there that might find a few errors but this car is really a fine example of anything Detroit made in 1967. I have 3 other GS convertibles and have used them to check everything when this car was assembled. One of the convertibles is a real time capsule. It is completly unmolested. Though it needs a frame off, it is really helpfull to use as a reference. As far as the Fremont car I really hate to sell it so my plan is to ask a high price and sit on it until the value gets there. In the meantime i will work restoring the other three. And who knows I might grab another one or two if the timing is right. As soon as this car is ready (two or three weeks) I will post some photos and run a ebay auction and see if anybody out there is in the market for this kind of car. If not then I will have to suffer driving it around to local events.

Good luck on your ac car.

If I see one I will send you a PM.

    Thanks

I looked at that car in Mount Vernon, Wa in the spring. The guy was your typical used car lot guy. He was asking $20K. It had a lot of rust that had been painted over with flat white rattle can paint. It was probably in the $6-8K range. Interior was Ok everything else was in need of a total resto.

Good luck to who ever bought it.
