this is ridiculous i have emailed you three times on this car of which you said you would call me this past weekend? o No: and seen the pics with rust etc. and everyone keeps passing on the car that swears they are buyers ou: but then says no, wouldn't it be beneficial to take the first with cash rather than have 20 people publicly pass on the car that makes everyone else think you have junk? :spank: hell im in california ive seen the pics and will fly out to take a closer look to buy this but i and im sure a few others are not going to sit around for three weeks waiting for presumed buyers to look at pics and then pass. So do what you gotta do but if something else comes up in the mean time you just lost a buyer. Take this as constructive criticism and look at my sig i only buy 65,66,67gs cars good luck. To everyone else on here, not trying to jump anyone just believe deals should be done first with cash wins not on maybe's.
I'm sitting here, 20 miles from the car and will look if those interested in front of me pass. David has every right to sell the car as he sees fit and your rant makes it look like you are trying to jump since you don't know who in front of you has cash and is just waiting for the opportunity. ________ Universal Health
Its really quite simple. 1) I never stated I would call you in regards to the car. Also I never stated I would call you this weekend, in fact, I was moving my office this past weekend so i know I wasen't going to be making car calls. 2)I have read the "guide lines" in regards to posting an ad for selling your car, of which states the following: ....."our policy dictates that if you list a part or car for sale, you will in good faith adhere to the following: 1. Post a price for the item being offered. 2. Post a location of the item. 3. Work with the interested parties to complete the sale, in the order that they showed interest in your item. This interest must be shown with a public reply to your thread, Personal Messages (PM's) or emails are not acceptable communication requirements for "getting in line" to purchase an item. We suggest 48 hours as an acceptable time period to allow interested parties to contact you privately. 4. If the first user who responds to your ad does not complete the sale, you move onto the second person who responded, and so on and so forth down the list, until the item is sold. This list is dictated soley by the public replies to your ad. 5. You will not accept other offers or negotiate outside of these guidelines. 6. You will not refuse to sell the item to anyone, for any reason, unless a moderator or the board administrator is involved and Ok's the denial." I have gotten emails and PM's that were not listed on the post, and I passed them up, to try and follow the guidlines and not "hide" anything. My appologies that you find my being as open and honest as possible and "working in good faith" with the people who are intereseted, irksome. But I will not appologize in how i'm selling MY car. I'm not in a bind to sell it, i would rather see it go to someone who wants the car, knows what its about, and will be able to put the work into it to take it from a good car to a great one. So if it takes a while, so be it. "...To everyone else on here, not trying to jump anyone just believe deals should be done first with cash wins not on maybe's...." My response is this "cash is great and can get you much, but integrity is priceless." Regards David O
Ditto! Ditto, hope the complainer was just having bad day, life is too short. We all get emotional over cars don't we. That's why we call it passion sometimes, beyond like and love. Especially for Buicks. Hopefully there won't be any further bashing towards either person. Let's all count to ten and live up to the "class" part of "fast with class" We are not chevy people, right?
yea i admit being a bit anxious but in my defense on one part you did state that you would contact me over the weekend last weekend this is from your email, not that it matters but just wanted to clear that one up. (been working alot, will get with you later on this weekend David that was your ending of the email with the pics. I will wait as i have been looking for a 4spd car to add to my collection from 67 and unless another opportunity presents itself, you have my # etc.
My appologies for not getting back to you. Moving on, yes I have your # from the previous post and email.

I'm going over my finances in the bank. I have the money I just want to make sure it's budgeted ok. I'll let you know for sure by Monday the 16th. Thank you!
if you are interested in a trade or partial trade for a 87 Grand National let me know wes here's my car: http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56233
OK I'm sorry to make you wait but I'll have to pass as well. After I thought about how much more it would take to make my current '67 GS completely finished it came to about the same amount. So I might as well us the $ on my car and I won't have to fly to Florida to get it... Cheers,
