OK Fred, I would love to buy your car-If I came to check it out, I would bring the money and a trailer. I did just that earlier this year on a car not far from you. I went from his description and pics. He also stated it was a nice "driver ". I came home with an empty trailer due to the DETAILS that I felt it would need for me to call it a "nice driver" I don't want a show car that can't be driven as my goal is to have one to take to local shows and cruises. Everyone's opinion is different as to what a "nice driver" consists of.Please post close ups pics of the car inside ,underneath, outside, etc. I sold a car to a board member that went to the east coast sight unseen with over 30 DETAILED pics and honest descriptions. He knew EXACTLY what he was getting without seeing it in person. If it is something you can't do, have someone help you. Pictures are the key! My work schedule is very tight and a trip over to just look would be a waste of time.Like I said, I would bring a trailer and cash!

I have 75-80 high quality pics,I am in the process of having them put on disc, these will be available in about a week, however,be aware that someone may come look and buy the car before I have these pics ready to email,I have ads in couple different places,if I put this car on ebay it will be a very well prepared ad/good pics, and the reserve will be higher than what I am asking now

Are these the factory options that come with the car? Is there any kind of documentation such as build sheet or Sloan info available?

It's his car..... He can advertise as he wants and take as many or as few pictures. It depends on how bad he wants and or needs to sell it. Be honest with the description.
I have sold quite a few cars on ebay with no complaints. I did have detailed photos and answered all questions. I bought a 72 boatail out of California several years ago that the owner stated " the windsheild wipers don't work" turns out the firewall was rotting from the pine needles lodged in it. Lesson learned. Bought a car in Illionois, Told my wife " how can you go wrong getting a car off the internet". I had a fellow Buick Club of America member check it out and take photo's. If you belong to a national car club contact a member close to the location of the car you are interested. It's a reason for us to go look at more stuff.
If you go with trailer and cash have a dealer book with you or borrow one from some one else. Get info about the model you are looking at and educate the seller if need be.. A lot of folks don't really know what they have, educate them on what they don't have if you are buying, what you do have if you are selling.

the car currently has manual steering, which I believe it was born with, over the years I aquired the parts to convert it to power steering, these parts will be included in the sale, the next owner can decide if he wants to change to power steering,I added the sport wheel because I like the looks of it,the original steering wheel (has cracks) is included with sale,I do not have the build sheet,it could be in the car,I have not looked on top of the gas tank,or under the carpet or back seat,I dont think sloan has any info on 1967 models,I could be wrong,if there is info I could get I would do so(does anyone out there know?)all the other options I listed were on the car when I bought it and match up the cowl info plate

2 members have looked at the car so far,I have never met either one before they came to look, but they both seemed to know there buicks A-Z,one of them posted here,I did not ask him to,I think he could see I was getting beat up here and struggling, the other guy that looked took about 80 pics for another buyer who lives in europe and was nice enough to provide me with those pics, which I am proccessing now. If there are people out there who are interested feel free to send nearby club members to look at the car,the more the better,I have nothing to hide

mike Z is first in line, mister T is 2nd if he is still interested, others have asked questions,i'm not sure if that puts them in line though,48 hours is the suggested time limit to think it over,I will go with that,if this results in no sale, off to ebay it will go

I just got home from an 11 day road trip, which went well south of you. Due to other things I've got happening right now, ie: work, mother in town for visit, etc., I must step away from the current queue.

If things change in the near future, I'll get right back in line. In the meantime, good luck with your sale.

Fred, Thanks for the pics-exactly what I said was needed. I bought a 72 Skylark convert and will be making a GS tribute car. Yours will sell fast as soon as people see the pics. The 72 was too good a deal to pass up. Good luck!
