On Lincoln Nebraska craigslist. I talked with guy sounds like body is rusted in
rear quarters and back window but car runs and drives. It is in Wilbur Nebraska southwest of Lincoln. He is asking $5000.00
phone number 402 826 0146 central time zone.
Don't know him but it might be what someone is looking for.
    Thanks

I used to own that car. It was one of those "I have too many projects and have to get rid of a few" deals. Not much on options as I recall, factory 400 4 speed, vinyl top, buckets, remote mirror, am radio. Rear quarters, rear window channel, trunk and floor pans all had some issues when I got rid of it, as well as some bubbling under the top. Engine was original to car, but the tranny and diff were not. Also when I bought it, someone had cut a huge hole in the dash to put a speaker in it. Don't know what's been done to it since, it's been a few years since I last saw it. It was a STRONG running car, almost too strong to be stock. Never timed it, but it absolutely killed my buddy's 455HO Firebird that was running 13 teens at the time.

Although you mention the trans and rear end were not original to the car, were they correct to the car and year as you recall? You did say it was a factory 4 speed car so probably - but just wondering.

The trans was an M-21 from a 70's Chevelle IIRC. The rear was a peg leg 3.08 I had put in it to move it around. I have no idea what it came out of.
