I thought so to, i thought i priced it to sell with no real reason to haggle much on price. guess i was wrong LOL.:dollar:
Hey MADMAX69....YOU need another 67 to add to your stable, doood??! :TU: :beers2: :TU: :beer Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz, i would LITERALLY be divorced if I bought another, but trust me, i've given it some thought. The only protection I have is that it's thousands of miles away. Whew!  67's are the best looking year, somebody buy this beauty!
yea I know...shipping WAS & IS part of the big picture problem and YET, I am still VERY MUCH interested in this car...just can't seem to mold the finances to make the deal come-together right now. I am feverishly trying tho. :Brow: ray: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
If You Want The Car, You Can Buy It Now And I Can Hold It For You For A Month Or So To Give You Time To Arrange The Shipping As Its Going To Sit In My Garage Till It Is Sold Or At The End Of The Month I Will Most Likely Paint It Etc. Then Put It In Hemmings And Or Auction. Mike.
Mike...Please allow me to apologize once again. :ball: I feel that every time I reply to your original thread, its appears you think I am ready to make a purchase. I feel responsible for the ups and downs I am causing you, so, I will not post any messages anymore untill I have the cash in hand. I just don;t want you to get all excited about a sale, and rightly so, as I WOULD DO if it were me selling. SO just to save heart and any hard feelings, I will reply to you ONLY when I have the funds to buy your car. FYI...I am a partner in an electrical contracting company and since the housing market has taken a HUGE hit here in Florida, we have THOUSAND$ invested in projects that will NOT be completed, and many contractors owing us THOUSAND$$$ who claim they will payup when THEY get paid, which will be like WHEN?? ...only God knows. Just as we negotiate a GC to the point where it LOOKS as if we are going to get paid, they fall short of committment. THAT, Mike, is where the problem lies. I havent had any income since last October so committing to spend 9K just isnt a good decision at this time. The security and financial future of my family is FIRST....ONCE AGAIN....Believe me, I am trying because I am very interested in your car, but I understand if someone jumps in ahead of me and has the cash...it'll be my sure loss. I am sincere and hope and pray I have not offended you in any way. Peace. :TU: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz bought my super clean 65 and is a great guy :beer I'm sure if he had the money and or didn't buy mine he'd have picked it up . ps Wheelz I miss that car !!!
Nice car, good luck with the sale. Here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...soo%3D1&fcl=3&frpp=50&fvi=1&item=140202356190
Yes car is sold and will be going to Canada, guy called this morning and sealed the deal. Thanks to everyone who was interested in this great car, I am going to really miss it but atleast i have my 65gs convertible with 2x4 to help dry my tears with. I know i will regret this sale but life sometimes makes you make choices you would rather not make. If for some reason the deal goes south which i doubt he overnighted the funds, I will post otherwise good luck to everyone and there search.
No, not me. But if it went to a guy in Whistler, I know who it is. What was that Cali GS like in Oregon? Harvey
Harvey it was rough but fairly solid. the guys son is trying to decide if he wants it for himself.. I'll ask again this weekend.
