Thanks Steve ... if you squint really hard, you can see my fully restored Stage1 4 speed GSX instead of a house renovation ou:
I keep trying to talk my wife into swapping her Camry for a nice old American wagon.....but who am I kidding, I'm really wanting it for myself :Brow:
I told my wife that it would be her wagon. She could have the 66 and I would have my 71. I figure it was a good deal to me. What motor does it have wildcat 375 isn't that the 300? and the wildcat 445 the 401??? Tim
Well I am glad no Denver members tried tracking this wagon down. It took five attempts thru a slacking son of a mom who's boyfriend owned the car. Got a callback from the owner on Tuesday and brought her home on Wednesday. It is a 62k two owner car. Very straight and complete car. It has factory air, tilt wheel, factory rally wheels etc. This car has seen very little use or love over the last twenty years or so mainly the last five. There is rust on the inside trim pieces on the interior around the leaking windows that is kind of bad but I knew what I was getting into when I bought it. It is a two seat deluxe Sport Wagon. 4 barrel 340 and a glide. White exterior with a black interior. I towed it home due to needing that fuil pump. It does run with help and bypassing the fuel delivery problem. New fuel pump should be here Sat or Mon. Can't wait for the first drive. The car had the front end completely rebuilt along with the master cylinder about five years ago. Really tight car. Interior looks to clean up nicely after I remove all the crap from inside etc. Door panels are in great shape as well. I have been looking for a wagon for years. This was a perfect score for me. This wagon got a perfect home. : ) PS I got it for less than 500.00.
Forgot to point out the sun ruffs as described in the ad. I also got an extra set of rally wheels with tires for that price. All the trim pieces are there and in excellent shape. These pics are after a quick half a** cleanup. It will be getting the much needed love it has missed for years. My nine year old daughter loves the car!!
Thanks for keeping up north there neighbor... Ha ha. I am really excited to get "Sue" prettied up. Definate score. I looked at it while the seller was working. Went home got the cash paid him and brought it home the next morning. Anytime you walk away from a deal you know it won't be there later. I have lost soooo many deals felt good to finally have one work out in my direction. Far from perfect but very very clean body etc. Too pop the hood and see all the untouched etc's was a cool rare sight these days. The seller told me he has the dealer emblem as well. Original Colorado car. Pat
Very nice score, congrats!...it seems that every once in a while a car falls into your lap if you are persistent. Nice
