    Hi,
I have recently rebuilt the front end of my '66 Skylark convertible with switch pitch, 340 4v and A/C. With all new bushings, tie-rod ends, shocks and springs the car sits waaay higher up front than before.

I expected some change since the car had all original parts before with badly worn a-arm bushings, but I have installed two different sets of front springs with no satisfaction yet. The rear springs, shocks, and bushings were also replaced at the same time - but the rear sits at about the same height as it did before.

Here's the parts I've installed from OPGI:

    Rear springs: p/n 5231
Front springs (first time): p/n 5244 sat too high, so I ordered p/n 5256 which still sits high, but not as stiff.

Will these front springs "settle down" in a few weeks or so? If they will, how much will they settle? I think they are about 2" too high right now.

    Thanks!
    Yancy
