I've thought long and hard about this. Due to other projects, I'm going to let the Skylark go. I'll have pics up real soon, but e-mail for the ones I have at present. My signature contains one of the car. E-mail is the best way to contact me. sixbrl440@cox.net At any rate, my car is a '66 Skylark Sport coupe, purchased from the original owner. Yep, a 2 owner car. The car's condition reflects that, too. Auto, power, air. Yellow, black interior. Seats are very nice, as is the headliner. The carpet on the doors is sagging a bit. The paint has been touched here and there, and I think a couple panels have been painted. Very nicely done. The car needs a bit of piddling with, but drives very nicely. 300 engine. The blower is noisy, have a new one, just not installed yet. Fresh alt/VR/Battery. The battery box area needs attention. The windshield is a bit foggy, like it is seperating from the inside out. The rest of the glass is good. Windshield is really, ok, but under certain conditions, tough to discern glare. Please, ask questions about the car. I'll answer. It is a good car I have enjoyed. E-mail/call for best results. Computer is fussy and I'm not on it a lot. $5K buys the car. 918-951-8899 Thanks for the ad space. I hope these aren't too big...
how is the rest of the body as far as rust is concerned? how about mechanically? would the car be depenadable for a long drive?
No issues mechanically. A little bubbling low in fenders, behind wheelhouse. Nothing really even noticable. Only "hole" I've found in the car is the right lower fender, behind the wheelhouse. About the size of a quarter. The car presents itself well. Pics tell the story.
